Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’ Debuts

The trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest project is out, and it finally gives us an inkling of what Interstellar is actually about. To sum up fatherly and foreboding Michael Caine (a Nolan staple): bad shit is going down on Earth and mankind must look to the stars for salvation. But why just look at a one sentence summary when you can watch the dang thing?

We still don’t know a ton about the movie, which is something I appreciate from Nolan. Too many trailers give the whole thing away before you even see the film. Look, it’s got this thing. This thing looks cool.

There were a lot of questions when Matthew McConaughey was initially cast as the lead, that have since died down due to his killer performances in Dallas Buyers Club and True Detective. Interstellar premieres in November and also features Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Jon Lithgow.
