Ever since I left the theater after seeing the first Avengers flick, I have hungered for news on the sequel. I have eagerly consumed every morsel. Ultron’s in it?! Quicksilver! Scarlet Witch! Vision! My geeky heart flutters every time I hear about Chris Evans having a cup of coffee. Cap would drink coffee! I sure hope Robert Downey, Jr. is drunk, Chris Hemsworth is eating a giant turkey leg, and Scarlett Johansson is strangling a man between her thighs.

Today, Entertainment Weekly revealed the look of Ultron in Joss Whedon’s sequel and, well, he looks like Ultron. As far as comic book villains go, it doesn’t get much easier to nail a look than it does for a bipedal robot with a simple red mouth and eyes. If they can make an accurate Iron Man suit, they can get Ultron right.

EW also provided a plethora of plot details, which you can read in the above link. To sum it all up, Ultron is pretty smart (because he’s a robot and robots think real good) and decides he knows what’s best for the world and starts doing bad stuff. It’s basically the plot of every Ultron story that’s been written since the character’s debut in the late 60s.

In case you’re not the type to obsessively check out comic book movie news because you have a life where you don’t refresh Twitter every five seconds, hoping to fill that lonely void in your heart, James Spader will be playing Ultron. He seems like a good fit for a Whedon-penned villain, what with his penchant for sarcasm and such.

Avengers: Age of Ultron should have plenty of Hulk smashery, Downey wit, and Whedon banter for the whole family when it premieres next summer.
